Robert was born and raised in Savannah. After graduating from B.C. he attended Oglethorpe University in Atlanta where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. After working in the mortgage banking and accounting industries, Robert attended law school at the Walter F. George School of Law at Mercer University, after which he returned to Savannah to practice.

Robert maintains a wide-ranging transactional and corporate practice in the general representation of businesses across all aspects of their affairs, including formation, employment matters, contracts and creditor’s rights and has represented area businesses and business owners in many merger and acquisition transactions. He maintains an active real estate practice, including the representation of lending institutions and borrowers in commercial and residential closing transactions as well as property owners, tenants and landlords in real property matters. He also regularly represents clients in probate proceedings in Chatham and surrounding counties and provides estate planning services.

In addition to his transactional practice, Robert regularly represents clients in civil litigation matters, including the defense of professional negligence claims and contract disputes, having appeared in Courts throughout the State.

He lives in Savannah with his wife, Shana, and their two sons, Sully and Grady.
